About
Founded in 2013 by Ivy, TutorBridge Free K-12 Tutoring (formerly MATHeasy) is a free tutoring program for K-12 students, supported by high school and college tutor volunteers. As of Summer 2021, TutorBridge has benefited over 11,700 tutors and tutees (mostly 1:1) so far at 10 library and school locations in California and Florida (including Milpitas High School, Milpitas Library, Russell Middle School, Pomeroy Elementary School, Sinnott Elementary School, Berryessa Library, Educational Park Library, Tully Library, Strawberry Crest High School) with multiple sessions each Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Since Spring 2020, we've moved tutoring online due to the pandemic.
Our mission is to help K-12 students succeed in school. We believe every student has the potential to succeed, and that some students struggle because they are missing key links in their knowledge. We aim to bridge this gap and strengthen their educational foundation, so they can achieve other great things in the future.
